I wrote 'When the Morning Comes' the day after one of the darkest nights of my Christian life. It was recorded in a collaboration with South African worship leader Jonathan Middleton, expertly produced by Andy Baker and his team at Resound Media. Song of the Year finalists were derived from 131 UK Christian Charts top tracks across all 12 categories, between August 2020 and July 2021. The final list below was based on voting by the General Public along with 154 Judges/Pundits.
The CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP category was won by Philippa Hanna,
plus top worship leader submissions from Matt Redman and luminaries such as
Lou Fellingham and Gas Street Music. It was a real honour to be amongst such quality.
